Put the kettle on! 

This year we're looking forward to the second Blue Cross Tea Party event, and hope we can raise even more than the £35,000 raised in 2007! 

All we'd like you to do is get together with some friends, enjoy a cup of tea and share some biscuits or indulge in a lovely piece of cake. 

The fundraising part is easy - just ask everyone to make a donation! You can also include some of our fundraising ideas to help raise more money or you may have some great ideas of your own.

Host your own Tea Party on Friday 16 May (or on a date that suits you) and you'll be raising funds to support our valuable work for Britain's pets and pet owners.

Shep

Shep, a friendly and affectionate border collie, is a typical collie; very intelligent with lots of energy. He came to The Blue Cross from Ireland as a stray but found a loving new home with the help of our adoption centre in Tiverton.

Shep loves his toys and human company. He has settled in well into his new home.
